HOW THE DATA TAX IS RIPPING YOU OFF
You may have heard – there is a new mobile carrier out there that offers a unlimited data plan on a national 5G network carrier, AND pays you cash back for the data you don’t use, all for just $50 a month.
On the surface, this seems little too good to be true? How can it be the same network as the big guys, AND pay me cash back to use my phone less, and be only $50 a month? If this is possible, why aren’t the top carriers already doing this? What’s the catch?
Let’s break this down:
First things first, since 5G was rolled out, mobile service has essentially become commoditized. The differences between the Big 3 – Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, are fundamentally the same with some regional exceptions (although T-Mobile might be the fastest) – and the “budget” carriers are all using their networks anyways. Using Mint? That’s T-Mobile. Using Visible? That’s Verizon. Spectrum? That’s AT&T. In terms of the actual network, they’re all offering various versions of the same thing.
Secondly, if you’re using one of the Big 3 Carriers, you are paying what we call the Data Tax. This is the extra money you pay, every single month, for access to data you are not using. The average person uses 10-12 GB of data per month – a far cry from the “Unlimited Data” packages we all pay for, spending upwards of $100 per month for a privilege we rarely use. Don’t believe me? Verizon paid a 6% dividend last year – which essentially means that nearly $100 of your annual bill, each year, goes right into their shareholders pockets. In fact, the biggest wireless carriers paid over $18 BILLION in dividends to Wall Street shareholders last year. All off of Americans overpaying for data. It’s simply a tax on the American people, and at Noble, we want to get rid of it.
Third, you may be asking, if all the data is the same, and the big guys are gouging me, why not just switch to the cheapest plan I can find? You can… but be careful. Many of the budget carriers hook you in with low monthly rates ($10-$20 per month), but get you later when they charge you for extra spectrum when you’ve used more than what $10 of data gets you. While the big guys hope you use less data (so you overpay and cover their data hogs using tons of data), the budget guys hope you use MORE data, so they can hit you with overage fees.
Simply put, the incentives are all off. And that’s why we created Noble.
For the first time ever, there is a mobile carrier that is aligned with your personal incentives. For $50 a month, the No-Bull plan gets you:
- Unlimited data when you want it: Noble is powered with the T-Mobile 5G network, and instead of marking up the prices to pay for expensive shareholder dividends, real estate, and marketing, we pass that cost savings back to you, the human.
- Cash back when you don’t use it all: If you don’t go over a certain threshold of data (20 GB a month, well above the average of 10-12 GB per month), we share the savings back with you. Noble members earn cash back for using their phone less, and if they go over, it just resets the next monthly billing cycle!
- Grow Your Cash Back Over Time, or Use Immediately: We’ll grow your Noble Cash at 5.5% (try beating that in another savings account), and you can apply it directly to your next bill, or redeem your available Noble Cash immediately. It’s a great way to start saving without thinking about it
- Cash Back Perks for Staying a Member Longer: The longer you stay, the more cash back you’ll earn, so keep your streak going and watch the sweet, sweet rewards pile up.
- New Incentives To End the Brain Rot: Noble is always launching new partnerships and perks with brands aligned with getting you off your phone and living a healthier phone-life-balance, like Calm, Get Your Guide, and Crunch Fitness. Stay tuned for more member perks from the first phone plan that is actually trying to make your life better.
- Shared Upside for the Founding 10,000 Members: Early Adopters get a share in the upside of Noble Mobile – rewarded as cash back if Noble is ever bought or goes public.
Okay so TLDR:
- You’re getting ripped off from your mobile carrier – it’s called the Data Tax and it sucks
- If you switch to Noble, you can save on your monthly bill AND get cash back for using your phone less
- Noble has a ton of perks for members that make this plan an absolute steal, all while freeing you from this Data Tax
So stop getting played, and start getting paid. Check out Noble Mobile and rid yourself of the Data Tax today.
